The Second Annual Exploits Loppet .
We invite skiers of all abilities to join us for a fun day of skiing on the Exploits Nordic Ski Trails, Grand Falls-Windsor. You may ask, “What is a Loppet?”. It is simply a gathering of people who love to ski on a specifically groomed trail of various distances using either a classic technique or skating technique. The Loppet means different things to different participants. For some it’s competition, for others it’s an enjoyable way to take in some fresh air in the great outdoors and meet new skiers. Our trails offer some great scenery, especially on the 7.5 km loop, and we are proud to showcase our new chalet where we will have some refreshments available and some small door prizes.
